critical condition. she, the boy and 35-year-old james dennis were all in the cab of that pickup truck which crashed and flipped over in hamilton township around 7:00 this morning. dennis was killed. they were thrown out of the truck along with two men and a woman who state police say were all illegally riding in the vehicle's bed. those victims were taken here to atlanta care regional medical center. at last check, they were still listed in serious condition. they did not suffer injuries that were as serious. state police tell us that those in the front of the pickup truck in the cab were not wearing seat belts. those victims including that 4-year-old boy. live in atlantic city, i'm ted greenberg, nbc 10 news. he was next to the wall. when the wall came down, it came down on top of him. >> a demolition project turns deadly in south jersey.

tonight, one worker died and investigators on the scene to find out what went wrong. the collapse happened this afternoon along route 38 in cherry hill. >> what do you have for us? >> reporter: before we went on the air, we got new information. we know that cherry hill police is investigating. you can see the demolition site here at cherry hill police officer was just here on the scene. the camden county prosecutor's office along with osha are also investigating this collapse. in the past 30 minutes, fire crews cleared the scene and workers from rent-a-fence set up the fence around the construction site. the fire chief told me they need to secure the site to keep people out, to prevent anyone else from getting hurt and so investigators can get in there to look at the evidence left behind. from sky force 10, you can get the best view of the crews, the construction equipment and the debris at this construction site. here is what we know right now. osha investigators are looking

into the employer in charge of the site, mancuso contractors incorporated. the fire chief tells me three people were working on the site demolishing an old blockbuster video to make way for a new supper wawa. i asked the fire chief to walk me through what happened to the man killed during the demolition. >> he was next to the wall. when the wall came down, it came down on top of him. knocked the person into a trench, which was there doing the construction. the person was deceased. >> reporter: you can seat trench the fire chief is talking about. the chief says it was five or six feet deep. most of the building was demoli demolished. just one wall was left. that is what fell on top of the worker. >> it's probably 15 foot long by eight, ten foot tall, a little piece of the roof, that all came down. >> reporter: investigators not releasing the name of the man killed here until his family is notified. we also just learned an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow to determine the cause of death. you can stay with nbc 10 news

and nbc10.com to keep you up to date with the investigation. sell or shut down, that's the fate of atlantic city's newest casino. now it's more than $400 million in debt. attorneys took their bankruptcy case to court hoping to sell off the struggling property within two months. matt is live in atlantic city. you were in the courtroom. how bad is the situation? >> reporter: one of revel's attorneys called this a melting ice cube, telling a judge today that the resort lost $75 million so far this year and continues to lose $2 million every week. >> a big black eye to the city of atlantic city. >> reporter: this man has worked in casinos for 23 years. what he sees at new jersey avenue is a shame. >> i could see it. all winter there was nobody in there but me. i was in there, some days half

the tables were empty. all winter, there was nobody in there. >> reporter: this morning, i went to bankruptcy court in camden. one day after revel filed for its second bankruptcy, this time lawyers say the goal is to sell this struggling property for the highest and best price. they earned more than $59 million in gaming revenue so far this year. but the attorneys claim the resort is not profitable as new management tried to reduce costs and overhaul operations. guests hoped for the best. >> i hope to god that they do not close because we love it. >> that would hurt the community, i would think. it's a lot of job opportunities. >> reporter: more than 3,100 people work at revel. after looking at numbers for each property, i found the resort is the fourth largest casino employer in the city. >> another shoe is ready to drop. everybody is on edge down here. >> reporter: lawyers for revel

are hopeful and confident they will receive some offers and a buyer before the end of august. more tough economic news for atlant atlantic city. the peers shop at caesars up for sale. they are home to high-end retailers and famous restaurants. all have seen sales slip as casino business declined. there's no lifting price for the property. a montgomery county bridge is shut down after cracks spotted in some of the beams that support it. the bridge off route 29 links two towns. the steel beams and water deck are deteriorating. it's closed until further notice. the bridge was one of more than two dozen in the area given a lower weight restriction last summer. a penndot spokesman says the

bridge failed a recent inspection. >> there was an inspection in late may. we received a report in here. a few days ago we decided it's unsafe for travel. so that's one action that we normally do. we proceed with closing the bridge down. >> penndot can't estimate how long the bridge will be closed. it's not clear what caused it to deteriorate. the state has the highest percentage of structurally deficient bridges in the country at nearly 25%. new jersey ranks 26th at nearly 10%. delaware at just over 6%. two men in custody for a shootout that played out on surveillance inside a philadelphia hotel. this was the scene back on march 31st at the roosevelt manor inn. when please arrived they heard gunshots from the hall. please say two men were shooting alt each other. investigators say they had a

fight. one man running a prostitution operation was inside when the other man came inside. no one was hurt. new tonight, a sketch of a man wanted for a home invasion robbery. the victim says she answered a knock at her door yesterday by a man claiming to be with a natural food company. the man pulled out a gun and went through the house for an hour looking for jewelry. he and an accomplice got away with $500,000 worth of jewelry. three people under arrest in delaware this evening after authorities found a stash of drugs and cash in a wilmington home. here is some of what officers found. more than 350 bags of heroin, 2.35 grams of marijuana and other pills as well. they covered nearly $8,000 in cash. it was all part of an ongoing drug investigation. it was made at a trailer park in wilmington. these three were all arrested. they are charged with a variety of offenses including possession with intent to deliver. summer starts this weekend.

>> today was a great way to kick things off. will it last? sheena parveen here with your forecast. >> how are things looking for tonight? >> tonight, for the last night of spring, things actually look pretty perfect. the humidity is low outside. it feels comfortable. temperatures are right around 80 for pretty much everybody. 81 in philadelphia. 80, wilmington. 76 atlantic city. cooler closer to the shore. the low 70s closer to cape may. tonight, by 7:00 p.m., we will stay partly cloudy, nice conditions, 80. the lower humidity will stick around for this evening. by 9:00 tonight, 77. a very nice evening. if you are heading out on this friday night, by 11:00 p.m., temperature around 70. some areas will be cool when you wake up tomorrow morning. some of us could see a very quick shower tomorrow afternoon. we will look at who may be at the best chance of that and how

cool it will be for the first weekend of summer. that's straight ahead. >> the weather will be perfect for the thousands of people heading to the firefly festival. it's bringing a boost to local businesses. tim furlong live in dover. tim, how are those crowds? >> reporter: pretty well behaved, i would say. there's in knuckleheads. takes one to know one. everybody is just taking advantage much the vibe. fun atmosphere here. of course, took people a little long to get here. not as bad as last year, nowhere close to that. as more people head to the beach tomorrow and there's the confluence of the traffic and people need to go home, things could get tight. most of the people coming are at firefly. while there have been issued reported with traffic, especially thursday morning

along route 13 when most campers were loading in, most tell us this year's festival is better than last year. >> more organized. last year, we had issues coming in with the traffic. i think 2 worked out. >> reporter: tomorrow morning, it could get tight. sunday night could be tricky as everyone goes back home. the state transportation secretary says the biggest act isn't going to be the last act, which means sunday night will be a trickle of fans out to the road instead of a tidal wave. of course, lots of the people will decide to wait until monday to head out. >> it's designed to get some people out and get on the road -- i think the majority of the people might benefit from a night of rest before they got back on the road again. railroad a lot of people getting ready for the foo fighters. it's hot in the sun but feels nice out here. of course, you just missed american authors.

double the reason to celebrate. 14 times over, graduation ceremony had everyone doing a double take. there's a reason. today's graduating class includes 14 sets of twins. >> unbelievable. five sets of boy twins, seven boy-girl twins and two sets of girl twins.

>> today's unique commencement. >> reporter: tassels were adjusted and the caps were tossed in the air. the class of the twins is officially out into the world. all 479 looked the same in the white and black of william tennant high school. 28 of them looked way too similar. >> it's bizarre. i've never -- i don't know. i've never noticed it. everyone is like, i'm a twin, i'm a twin. you don't really ask people. >> reporter: 14 sets of twins are graduating at the same time. >> it's a bond that just happened to happen here. everyone says there's something in the water. >> reporter: from birth to now, always together but going to different colleges. >> one constant in all the changes. i'm going to miss you a lot.

may. nice conditions along the shore. in cape may, in the mid to low 70s. in philadelphia, we are in the low 80s. the humidity, very dry outside. that shows you dry air mass is still in place. for this evening, it's going to feel nice outside if you are heading out. the lehigh valley, in the upper 70s. 81 in bensalem, 79 in trenton. temperatures around 80 for much of south jersey and delaware. 80 in dover. locally, we are dry. just off to our west we have a lot of cloud cover and a lot of rain here. some of this will try to move in tomorrow. a majority of the moisture will slide to our south. future weather takes all this, tries to bring it in. really weakens it and breaks it up. starting off for saturday, a mix of clouds with some sun. there's a chance a few of us could see fast-moving light showers. mostly south of philadelphia.

through the afternoon saturday, really doesn't look too bad. as we go into sunday, we clear out even more and will see more sunshine to end the week. with the sunshine we still have a high uv index. it's nine. it will be like this for the next three days. skin damage within only $15 minute. wear the sun block this weekend. in the poconos saturday, partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. sunday, more sunshine. if you are heading to the new jersey or the delaware beaches, temperatures saturday, mid 70s. we could see a chance of a shower. on sunday shs we will see more sunshine, temperature right around 77 degrees. tonight, partly cloudy, feeling nice. 63, for the low, philadelphia. tomorrow, clouds around, more clouds than today and a chance of a shower mainly south of philadelphia. sunday, we are sunny, nice, low 80s. into monday, mid 80s. next chance of thunderstorms comes on wednesday.

ashe had been out. he is in the lineup tonight. >> rehab assignment went well. he had power numbers and he hit for a high average. that's good. right now, he will provide punch at the bottom of the order. >> the count down to training camp begins. eagles wrapped up their final minicamp yesterday and have a little over a month before they report for training camp. they say going through this for the second time has made a big difference. >> we did well in the weight room. our bodies are in good condition. i feel like we're further -- we're ahead of what we were last year. >> training camp is going to have ups and downs as far as physically, mentally, it's just a grind. but like i said, i'm looking forward to it. i can't wait to get back out here and actually play some games. >> we're six days until the nba draft.
